Takeo marijuana plantation set alight
Police in Takeo territory consumed more than 6,300 pot plants on Saturday.
Specialists found the illicit weed estate in Kirivong region after villagers tipped off neighborhood police.
No captures were made.
A region cop, who declined to be named on the grounds that he was not approved to address the media, said the weed plants were found in a remote, hilly zone.
"Hostile to sedate police discovered 6,321 maryjane plants in a remote piece of Preah Bat Choan Mate cooperative," he said. "Police evacuated the plants and consumed the site."
The ranch was situated on Da Thlat Mountain, more than two kilometers from the closest town.
"The plants were being developed over the mountain, which is state arrive," the officer said.
He included that the case stayed open since police were looking to capture the proprietors of the pot.
A month ago, 28,114 crisp pot plants were seized and consumed by police in Kirivong region, while two Vietnamese nationals were captured as they endeavored to sneak two kilograms of the medication in from Vietnam.
